Zwiesel Glas is one of Europe’s top glassware manufacturers. Through our sister company Houseware International, we have been the exclusive distributers of this exceptional crystal on the Irish market since we first introduced the brand to the Irish hospitality market in 1990

Tritan® crystal glass, developed in 2001 is patented worldwide by Zwiesel Glass. It is shatter proof and fully dishwasher safe. In 1810 the Peugeot brothers, Jean Pierre et Jean Frédéric converted a mill inherited from their ancestors into a steel mill and since then, rolled steel has been at the heart of Peugeot’s activities.

In 1856, Giuseppe Sambonet, a Fine Arts graduate obtained his warrant as Master Goldsmith and established the company, Giuseppe Sambonet, depositing his seal bearing the initials “GS” at the Turin mint. At the beginning of the twentieth century his company was the official purveyor to many nobles, including the Duchess of Genoa and the Count of Turin.

In 1881, brothers August and Conrad Bauscher founded the “Gebrüder Bauscher Porzellan”, a specialist manufacturer of hotel porcelain using 70 employees and one kiln. Today, their environmental protection, resource conservation, and energy efficiency are firmly anchored in their corporate culture. The highest standards and ethical practices are guaranteed in the manufacture of all their products.

Bauscher’s environmental management and energy management systems are certified to ISO 14001 and 50001 respectively. They use new firing technologies that lower energy consumption by a third, thus reducing their CO2 emissions, also, all ceramic waste occurring in the production process is completely recycled.
